Whether you are printing one item or many thousands, you can always expect the same high level of service from JG Mailing.
As a company that handles data for commercial purposes, we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and listed on on the Data Protection Public Register. This gives us the legal right to handle personal information and acts as a further confirmation that your data is always safe with us.
We are committed by law to comply with the 8 Principles of the Data Protection Act 1998.
This means the data we handle must be:
- Fairly and lawfully processed
- Processed for limited purposes
- Adequate, relevant and not excessive
- Accurate and up to date
- Not kept longer than necessary
- Processed in accordance with the individual’s rights
- Secure
- Not transferred to countries outside the EU, unless there is adequate protection.
Upon the completion of your mailing project (usually taken to be the moment you settle your account), we delete your data from our machines and storage devices.
Should any mailed items be returned, we will always give you the option of receiving it. However, should you notify us that you do not need to have the returned mail, we will securely shred it before recycling it.
Your data is stored securely on site with limited access: only those staff members who may need to be working on your project are able to access it. In the rare event that we do have to take your data off site, we ensure that it is password protected.
